Project details
One of the most pressing issues in the EU at the moment is youth unemployment. This has been significantly underlined due to the pandemic, the vast evolving digital transformation, the recent economic inflation, and the war at the doors of the EU. All these have led to skills mismatching and the majority of companies are struggling to find talents with the right skills, while young people are struggling to find a decent job that meets their qualifications. Considering the recommendations from the World Economic Forum and the European Year of Skills Agenda, the EASY project will design and implement an upscaling program to provide thousands of young people with in-demand skills to find a proper and secure job. The aim of the upskilling program is to identify, build and harness emerging in-demand skills of young people. This aim is in accordance with the project’s main priority “Strengthening the employability of young people”.
