RECIPE

Responsible-Eco Culinary in Dietetics Professional Education

About the project

RECIPE brings eco-culinary practice and dietetics into vocational training for future chefs and kitchen professionals — reducing food waste, cooking sustainably and looking after the health and wellbeing of the people in the kitchen.

The partnership develops a gamified e-course and classroom resources, trains multipliers who carry the approach into their institutions, and builds a certification system so the new skills are recognised.

Objectives

  1. 01Equip VET learners in gastronomy with sustainable, low-waste kitchen practice
  2. 02Help educators teach food-waste reduction and sustainable cooking
  3. 03Address the health and wellbeing of kitchen staff
  4. 04Recognise the new competences through micro-credentials
