Einnahmen-Ausgaben-Rechnung made simple: clean books for small businesses and associations
Keep simple, correct books for a small business or association with income and expenditure accounting.
Why this seminar matters
For many founders, freelancers and association treasurers, bookkeeping is the task that gets pushed to the end of the month. Yet income and expenditure accounting (Einnahmen-Ausgaben-Rechnung) is straightforward once the rules are clear — and clean records save time, stress and money at year end.
What you will learn
- Know when income and expenditure accounting applies
- Record income and expenses correctly
- Prepare a clear year-end overview
- Avoid the most common bookkeeping mistakes
The seminar programme
The seminar is built around four modules. Each one combines a short input with practical exercises, so you apply what you learn straight away.
Know when income and expenditure accounting applies
We clarify who may use income and expenditure accounting (Einnahmen-Ausgaben-Rechnung) instead of double-entry bookkeeping — freelancers, small businesses and associations — and when the obligation changes.
Record income and expenses correctly
You practise recording receipts and invoices, separating private and business costs, and handling VAT, assets and depreciation in the simple way the method allows.
Prepare a clear year-end overview
Step by step, we turn the year’s records into a clean overview for the tax return or the association’s general meeting — including the documents an accountant or auditor will ask for.
Avoid the most common bookkeeping mistakes
Missing receipts, wrong dates, mixed accounts: we go through the errors that cost the most time and money, and how a simple monthly routine prevents them.
How we work
We work with realistic sample records and an easy spreadsheet, so you can follow every step at your own pace. Questions from your own practice are welcome — the seminar does not replace individual tax advice.
What you take home
- A ready-to-use income and expenditure spreadsheet
- A checklist of receipts and records to keep
- A monthly bookkeeping routine that takes less than an hour
- An overview of the year-end steps
