The seminar is built around four modules. Each one combines a short input with practical exercises, so you apply what you learn straight away.
Build and keep a household budget
Tracking income and expenses, fixed and variable costs, and a budget method that fits your life — on paper or in an app.
Understand bank accounts, contracts and fees
Reading account statements, comparing fees and understanding contracts for phone, energy, insurance and loans before you sign.
Save and plan for your goals
Building an emergency reserve, setting savings goals and understanding the basics of saving and investing safely.
Avoid debt traps and scams
Buy-now-pay-later, overdrafts and online scams: we look at warning signs and where to get free help if money gets tight.
How we work
Practical exercises with realistic examples — no personal financial data needs to be shared. We discuss real offers and contracts and work out what they really cost.

Who it is for
Adults and families who want to manage money better. No prior knowledge is needed — we start from your own questions and cases.
Practical details
- Length: two to four days on site in Vienna, depending on the group
- Group size: from eight participants
- Language: German or English, set per group
- Fee: €220–€400 per person, depending on length — we help you look for funding
- Certificate of participation for every participant
